Giving

Grace Baptist Church Halstead is supported financially by Christians who voluntarily give to the work. In the New Testament, we see a pattern of members of the church giving sacrificially to support the ministry of the local church, especially supporting those dedicated to teaching the church and/or to gospel ministry in other parts of the world.

Examples of this include 1 Timothy 5:17-18, 1 Corinthians 9:3-14, Galatians 6:6 and Philippians 4:15-18.

If you would like to contribute financially to the church, there are two ways you can do this:

  1. Bank transfer
    • Account name: Halstead Grace Baptist Church
    • Sort code: 40-52-40
    • Account number: 00033874
    • Stating “Gift” or “Offering” and your name as the reference is helpful for accounting purposes
  2. Placing your gift in the box in the chapel

Gift Aid

If you are a UK taxpayer, we have Gift Aid declaration forms available to sign. These allow the church to claim 25% back from HMRC for each pound given. If you would like more information on this, please speak to our treasurer/deacon, Stephen Medhurst (or to an elder).
